Each account starts with a unique ҵ NetID. It is the computer network account that gives you access to the University’s digital services.
You can use your NetID as a key to access the student or faculty portal, computers on campus, your personal storage space, your email account,Blackboard, campus Wi-Fi, your library account and more.
If you're a student, your ҵ NetIDwill be "a" followed by your student number - ex:a123456.
If you're a faculty or staff member, your ҵ NetID is the first letter of your first name followed by your last name. For example, if your name is David Smith, it will be dsmith.

Upon enrollment, every student, faculty and staff member isgiven an ҵ email account.
All official university communications are sent toyour ҵ emailaddress.It is thereforeimportant that youcheckitdaily. Please notethatemailautomaticforwardingto an external domainis not allowed.
Yourprimaryemail address is composed of yourNetID + @aup.edu (NetIDaup.edu) and it has the same password as your NetID. Besides, anyone can email youtyping yourfirstname.lastname
aup.edu, your alternative email address.

We strongly recommend that you download the Outlook app on any device you see fit, so that you canaccess your inboxatany timeas long asyou havean internet connection.
Students, faculty and staff membersare offeredadigital storage spacecalled OneDriveon the ҵOffice 365 platform(one terabyte, the equivalent of 200hours of film, which is a lot.)Access your personal file storage on OneDrive via . This is secure way to store your files on the cloud. You can connect to OneDriveatany time from any device with an internet connection.
ҵ printing service is now available as Print as a Service (PaaS).
This service enables staff and students to use their university ID card to print, copy andscan on SHARPmultifunction devices (MFDs).Thanks to the PaaS "secure print" function, your document will only print when you swipeyour card to a MFDdevice. This ensures you're the only one who collects your document.
When you click "Print", your printing job is sent to a general virtual queuecalledҵrint. You simply have to go to the most convenient SHARP MFD for you.Just useyour ҵ ID card to release your print job(s).

All faculty and staff members have a landline telephone in their office, with a personal extension to reach them.

Your ҵ email account cannot be forwarded to an external address.You have to use your ҵ email addresswhen conducting university business because important messages from the university are often only sent by email. Only the messages related to your ҵ NetID maintenance and password resetwill be sent to your personal address.
Also, the IT department will use this address to keep you informed of application updates, warnings, training and other technical information. Please check your ҵ email on a regular basis to keep in touch with your ҵ fellow students, colleagues, faculty and staff.

Your quota should beenough for what you will need to print during your time at ҵ. If you exceed your quota however,
you will need to purchase additional credits at.
To be eco-friendly, please do not print if you don’t need to. The printing quota is the number of pages allotted to students every
semester so that they can print documents on campus,
using either ҵ computers or personal devices. Although the quota appears in euros,you won’t be charged for it.

ҵ professors and staff members are not assigned a printing quota, so they will not be charged on your account.
The negative number simply indicates the amount that has been printed from your account.
